Variety Children and Family Services (VCFS) welcomes donations from the public, individuals, humanitarian organizations, religious organizations and other sponsors. And donations can be made by any of the following methods:

1. Donations can be made in person at the children’s home or at the main office at 18 PENINSULA ROAD,GODERICH, FREETOWN, SIERRA LEONE. All donors are given receipts and a letter of appreciation which will be sent by email or delivery services.
2. Donations can be made by credit or debit card by visiting our website at www.varietychildrensl.org and click on the donation portal
3. Donations can be made by money gram, western union , world Remit or orange money to Variety Children and Family Services (VCFS) finance officer by contacting + 232 78 455841 or + 232 76716037

Variety Children and Family Services (VCFS) believes in people whose desire is to freely give their services to the cause of building mankind especially vulnerable children who are the hope and future of the world. Our volunteer program is designed to offer quality standards that meet national and international volunteer regulations and taking into consideration our principal core values in child protection. Categories of  Variety Children and Family Services (VCFS) Volunteer Services:

1. Internships: Variety Children and Family Services (VCFS) receives Internes rom Fourah Bay College, Milton Margai College of Education, Njala University and other colleges in Sierra Leone.
   INTERNSHIP PROGRAM SCHEDULE
   Variety Children & Family Services is a child protection agency that encourages interns with majors in social work, Business administration and finance.
   Below are Variety Children & Family Services requirements for interns as they present their referral letters from their universities and colleges.

• Complete Variety Children & Family Services personnel record ( from Secretary)
• Complete a police clearance request form and proceed to Criminal Investigations Department for finger print clearance. (License Office)
• Complete a Health Screening form and contagious disease certification at 18 PENINSULA ROAD,GODERICH, FREETOWN, SIERRA LEONE, and proceed to a medical facility for the process. (License Office)
• Attend a program orientation with the Chief Executive Officer or the Chief Financial Officer
• Work with the License Officer of certified foster homes for children. ( One Week)
• Work with the resident social worker and the resident nurse at the children’s home Kingtom ( One week). Must attend group session with the children and must identify one child for a case study.
• Work with the lead social worker at main office for case management and Data entries ( one week)
• Assigned to a social worker for certified foster home visits ( Field work).
• Assigned one child as a case load in a certified foster home and do a complete case management on that child.
• Write a final report.
• All progressive evaluation reports submitted to the CEO or CFO for their final report to the Intern’s University or college.
• Variety Children and Family Services (VCFS) accepts volunteers for advocacy in child protection, grant writing, fund raising and investigation of abuse of all kinds of children. We encourage university students to write thesis or project papers on our major program composition and policies. Policies
