As a retired Police Officer, I have had the privilege of serving in various esteemed positions. My rank as an Assistant Inspector General reflects my commitment to excellence and ability to lead teams effectively.
International Experience
My expertise extends beyond national borders. For example, I was honoured to serve as a Donor Coordinator in the Police Component at the United Nations African Union Hybrid Mission in Darfur (UNAMID). This role allowed me to contribute to peacekeeping efforts and make a tangible impact on the ground.

Throughout my tenure in the Sierra Leone Police, I held key positions that further shaped my leadership capabilities and deepened my understanding of the diverse aspects of law enforcement. Notable positions include:
- Director of Training: Guiding the professional development of fellow officers, I played a pivotal role in ensuring they were equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to uphold law and order effectively.
- Director of Personnel Training and Welfare: Recognizing the significance of the well-being and morale of law enforcement personnel, I prioritized their welfare to ensure a motivated and dedicated workforce.
- Director of Support Services: By overseeing vital support functions within the police department, I contributed to the organisation’s seamless operation and logistical efficiency.

UN Certification
My commitment to enhancing peacekeeping operations led me to become a UN Certified Trainer in Peacekeeping and Policing. This certification underscores my expertise in training fellow officers, equipping them with the skills to navigate complex peacekeeping environments successfully.
