Eunice Hollist recently retired from the National Health Service (NHS) England after more than 10 years of service as a Governance Administrator in various work areas including clinical audit, compliance and regulation and freedom of information. Prior to that she worked as a Civil Servant in London for about two decades in various managerial positions. While in the civil service she worked as an Information Researcher, Higher Executive Officer and Lead Policy Adviser. She also worked in Lical Government as an Assistant Librarian in London.

She is a Chartered Librarian and has a Bachelor’s of Arts (Honours)degree in Social Science specialising in economics. She also has Project Management qualifications from Sussex University, UK and the University of Connecticut, USA.

She taught as a primary and secondary school teacher in Freetown, Sierra Leone. She also worked as an Assistant Librarian at Milton Margai Teachers College, Sierra Leone. Between 1985 -1992 she worked in Sierra Leone as a Programme Administrator and Project Officer delivering UNICEF projects and programmes with National Organisation for Women (NOW) SL.

She spends her spare time helping, supporting and mentoring children especially girls and young female adults in Freetown. In London, she gives extra lessons in English and Maths to primary school children up to 11+ exams. She also mentors and helps in motivating secondary school children to achieve.
